Experiential Activation at Pitchfork Music Festival

AgencyEA partnered with CLIF Bar to create a memorable activation that educated consumers about their product and dedication to sustainability at Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival. See our results>

Invited festival goers to the branded booth to engage with a variety of activations including a tattoo parlor, photo-op, guest lounge, postcard writing station and lawn-games.

Integrated CLIF Bar messaging into the Pitchfork ecosystem authentically by aligning every facet of the booth — décor, swag, cause and activities — with the festival.

Designed a tattoo parlor and applied custom, semi-permanent, 100% organic IncBox tattoos to festival-goers who donated to Alliance of the Great Lakes.

Constructed the booth entirely from up-cycled and reclaimed materials to reflect CLIF’s commitment to sustainability, festival culture and its Midwest location.

Paired the message “Protect the Places We Play” and backyard-style games like Connect Four, Jenga, beanbag toss and more by having the games made from reclaimed wood and designed by local artists.

Created a popular photo opportunity with a unique mural wall crafted from plywood, vinyl, 816 recycled cassette tapes, spray paint and wooden lettering.
